Life Hits — Life Update 1

Hey, it’s been a while! Life has been pretty hectic! It’s been a while since we last connected. I can hardly believe we’re already in the middle of October. During this four-month break from posting on this blog, so much has transpired that I find myself both amazed and perplexed.

I’d like to introduce you to “Life Update,” a new feature for this blog. Here’s a quick overview: My fiancé and I are planning two weddings—one civil and one church—to make sure our families are happy and satisfied.

Navigating married life presents its challenges when we’re separated by a continent. This situation has left me emotionally unsettled for several weeks as our communication has been less than ideal.

I’m still getting used to my new work schedule, which runs from 9 PM to 6 AM. Staying awake during the night hours is second nature to me, but establishing a regular sleep schedule has been a challenge. This adjustment has also meant making some changes to my lifestyle. As someone who’s been drinking coffee for years, I’ve had to switch to teas to cut down on my caffeine intake and reduce the chance of migraines.

I’ve been trying to stay active, so I’ve been incorporating exercise into my routine. Since my metabolism tends to be slower at night, I’ve found that a brief 15-minute run on the treadmill helps me relax and energize my system.

Outside of work, I’m also trying to make time for activities that help me take care of myself and that I enjoy. A few weekends ago, I missed the chance to see IT: Chapter 2 in theaters because it only ran for two weeks. I was a little bummed because I’d already seen the first movie, but I ended up watching Joker, which was really good and an amazing experience.

A few weeks ago, I rediscovered the joy of playing Grand Theft Auto Online. Even after the latest expansion, Diamond Casino, the game continues to be fun and engaging. I shared several in-game photos and videos on Instagram, showcasing my experiences. However, it’s a bit disappointing that my subscription has ended, and I’m currently contemplating whether I should renew it until the end of the year.

I’m almost done with my “All character mastery” run in Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions on my PSP. Once I’m done with this game, I plan to continue my journey in DJMax Classiquai.

I’ve been keeping pretty busy lately. I’ve been enjoying some exciting gaming adventures and have had to make a few decisions along the way. Life sure does throw you curveballs sometimes.
