Life Hits — Life Update 1

  • Life

Hey, It’s been a while! Life Hits! It has been quite some time since we last connected. I can hardly believe we’re already in the middle of October, and during this four-month break from posting on this blog, so much has transpired that I find myself both amazed and perplexed.

Allow me to introduce you to ‘Life Update,’ a new concept for this blog. Let me give you a brief overview: my fiancé and I have embarked on a journey of two weddings, one civil and one church, to ensure the happiness and satisfaction of both our families.

Now, navigating married life presents its challenges as we find ourselves separated by a continent. This situation has left me emotionally unsettled for several weeks as our communication has been less than ideal, bordering on subpar.

In the meantime, I’m in the process of adjusting to my new work schedule, which runs from 9 PM to 6 AM. Staying awake during the night hours comes naturally to me, but establishing a stable sleep schedule has proven to be a challenge. This adjustment has also necessitated changes in my lifestyle. As a long-time coffee drinker, I’ve had to switch to teas in order to reduce my caffeine intake and minimize the occurrence of migraines.

In an effort to stay active, I’ve been incorporating exercise into my routine. Since my metabolism tends to be slower at night, I find that a brief 15-minute run on the treadmill helps me relax and energize my system.

Aside from work, I’m also prioritizing activities that promote self-care and provide a sense of enjoyment. A few weekends ago, I missed the opportunity to watch IT: Chapter 2, as its run in theaters, was only two weeks long. I felt a bit disappointed since I had watched the first movie. Nevertheless, I ended up watching Joker, which turned out to be a great movie and provided a captivating experience.”

About game-related activities

A few weeks ago, I rediscovered the joy of playing Grand Theft Auto Online. Even after the latest expansion, Diamond Casino, the game continues to be fun and engaging. I shared several in-game photos and videos on Instagram, showcasing my experiences. However, it’s a bit disappointing that my subscription has ended, and I’m currently contemplating whether I should renew it until the end of the year.

Meanwhile, I’m nearing completion of my ‘All character mastery’ run in Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions on my PSP. Once I wrap up this game, I plan to continue my journey in DJMax Classiquai.

So that’s what’s been keeping me busy lately — a mix of exciting gaming adventures and a bit of decision-making. That’s why life hits indeed.
