Life

All “Life” blog posts. This category is already self-explanatory but since I need to fulfill the SEO requirements (the red icon really bothers me) I have to explain that these posts are about my personal life and whatever happens outside of my usual topics. I might posts some sensitive topics here and might use some triggering words but please understand that is what I strongly feel at that time.

↝ I might regret posting these topics in the future but I am sure that it can blow off some steam out of me. I don’t need something to bother me for days, I need an outlet.

New Normal finally starts in 2022

  • Life

The second quarter of 2022 is starting off with a new phase as the government mandates a return to office for everyone. Fortunately, I rearranged my schedule in May, allowing me some time to prepare and adapt to the so-called “New Normal“.

One of the first things I want to tackle is my sleeping habits. After enduring long hours of training and actual work for a month, I’ve been struggling to establish a consistent sleep schedule. This has resulted in daily migraines and restlessness. However, I’ve decided to temporarily cut back on coffee to facilitate a smoother transition and improve my sleep patterns.

Given my current schedule, I should ideally be sleeping around seven in the morning and waking up at two in the afternoon. However, I’ve noticed that I’ve been falling asleep at three in the morning right after I finish work. As a result, I wake up around ten in the morning. While I still manage to get seven to eight hours of sleep, having a more stable sleep schedule would be preferable.

Major Change. Had to make 180°

  • Life

So, here’s a significant change I’ve made on the blog.

After my last post for 2021, I had a realization about my main domain and the subdomain I created for my personal blog. From the beginning, I had an uneasy feeling about it, like an “oh no” moment, and my subconscious kept urging me to transfer them to a different subdomain that was completely disconnected from the main domain.

Fortunately, I had backups available, which made the process of transferring to another subdomain much quicker. It took me 8 documentary videos and three cups of coffee to get everything back up again. However, there’s one thing that I need to remove from my posts.

  • Life

As 2021 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the past year while enjoying a plate of delicious omelet. Despite spending most of my time indoors, there have been some memorable and eventful moments throughout the months. One notable experience was my almost successful attempt at getting a pet, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out due to some pending house rules.

Fitness & Health
  • In light of the unexpected weight loss I experienced in 2020, I made a decision to continue my efforts and strive for further weight loss this year. I’m delighted to share that I have successfully shed an additional 10 pounds. However, the journey hasn’t been easy, especially with my schedule changing every quarter. Maintaining consistency has proven to be crucial in my weight loss endeavors.
  • I’m currently seeking assistance in my weight loss journey. To aid me in achieving my goals, I have incorporated the use of various apps to track my exercise routine and practice Intermittent Fasting. So far, I have been successful in implementing IF into my routine, and now my focus is on establishing a schedule for utilizing the stationary bikes I purchased earlier this year.

December Blues

We’re already in the middle of December, and I must admit, my productivity has been on the decline as we approach the end of 2021. Over the past three months, my activities have mainly consisted of endless streaming and lengthy periods of sleep during the weekends. However, I’m grateful that I can still manage to handle basic daily chores and stock up on groceries every other week.

I find myself easily getting distracted from work and constantly engaging in self-reflection, often with a negative mindset. Despite having a five-day break last week, I suspect that burnout may be contributing to these feelings. Additionally, the ongoing uncertainties within my department, such as the transfer of teammates, have further dampened my work morale.

To add to the challenges, my husband and I are currently living in different countries, making it difficult to find a suitable time for quality conversations. Being 15 hours apart presents a significant hurdle, and finding a convenient middle ground has proven to be a challenge.
