Life

All “Life” blog posts. This category is already self-explanatory but since I need to fulfill the SEO requirements (the red icon really bothers me) I have to explain that these posts are about my personal life and whatever happens outside of my usual topics. I might posts some sensitive topics here and might use some triggering words but please understand that is what I strongly feel at that time.

↝ I might regret posting these topics in the future but I am sure that it can blow off some steam out of me. I don’t need something to bother me for days, I need an outlet.

Hobbies — Slowly going back to it

  • Life

A long time ago, I was that adorable little kid with many talents and hobbies — kinda! I used to play piano and guitar every day after school until my fingers were too sore to continue. When I’m in the mood to do those two, my dad brings me to a local pool and makes some lapses until I get tired and ready to go home. Lastly, if I ever got bored going to a local pool, I usually stay at home and hone my drawing skills.

“I’m still at school so I can still do lots of stuff during Summer” — That’s what I said many years back. Now that I’m older, my interest and hobbies changed, opposite to what I’ve done as a kid. Nowadays, I usually waste my time playing a game, building my Gunpla boxes, or checking my DSLR kit and some quick maintenance.

Election Madness

  • Life

It’s already May! I missed the Star Wars day and ‘Cinco de Mayo’ because my country is going through a weird season right now… Philippine Elections! and election day will happen in a couple of days, right after Mother’s Day.

Honestly, as an introvert and possibly have a passive-aggressive behavior, this is the most stressful thing I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime, not unless I’m pursuing a life-changing career or event — like pregnancy or moving to another country and living there forever.

The tension is already high when 2022 starts, and it got out of control when the candidates have a month left to campaign, especially on social media. I’m already avoiding any propaganda websites, Facebook and Twitter for a long time and yet still find a way to lure me back in.

New Normal finally starts in 2022

  • Life

Second-quarter of 2022 kicks off with my government is forcing everyone to go back to office. Luckily I moved my schedule in May so, I still have time to prepare myself to adjust to the so-called “New Normal“.

The first thing that I want to fix is my sleeping habits — After I went through 16 hours of attending training and doing my actual work for a month, I’m having a hard time getting a stable sleep schedule. As a result, migraines and restlessness are a daily occurrence. Luckily, I’m ditching coffee in the meantime to make this transition easier.

Major Change. Had to make 180°

  • Life

So this is a major change I’ve done on the blog.

After the last post I made for 2021, I had an epiphany regarding my main domain and the subdomain that I built for a personal blog. Honestly, I had that uneasy feeling since day one — like an “oh no” moment and my subconscious is telling me that I have to transfer them to another subdomain that has no connection to the main domain.

Luckily, backup exists, and transferring them to another subdomain made it quicker, so it took me 8 documentary videos and three cups of coffee to make everything up again but there’s one thing that I need to drop on my posts.

2021: The Full Recap

  • Life

2021 is already ending. I’m sitting here, eating a plate of omelet, and decided to make “Recap” posts. Despite being cooped up in my place for a year, there are some quite eventful months — I almost got myself a pet but only got disappointed due to pending house rules.

Fitness & Health

  • Due to my weird weight loss that happened in 2020 so this year, I decided to go further and try to lose more weight. I am happy that I lose another 10 pounds but the journey is really hard as my schedule changes quarterly so consistency is important.
  • So help me to lose weight. I am using apps to help me exercise and do Intermittent Fasting. So far so good at doing IF and now I just need to build a schedule on using the stationary bikes that I bought this year.
